A travel bowl that has a place in your bag
A collapsible travel cup is easier to pack when it folds flat between uses. This guide focuses on the original Dexas travel cup in the Large, two-cup version. For dog and cat households, fit means both usable capacity and a bowl your pet is comfortable drinking from.
Choose the open size first
Compare the bowl capacity and dimensions with the way your pet normally eats or drinks. Product versions and capacities differ. A useful travel bowl needs to work when opened as well as fit neatly when folded.
Think through an ordinary outing
For a walk, a short drive or a longer trip, decide where the bowl will live in your kit. A clip can make it convenient to carry, but check the attachment and keep the bowl accessible. Carry an appropriate supply of water separately when that is part of the outing.

Fold-flat storage saves bag space, but a flexible travel cup is not a sealed water container. Carry water separately and use the bowl on a suitable level surface. A two-cup capacity may still require refilling; choose around your pet and the outing.
